Matthew O Akinwale
The simple answer to the above question is: “No, Jehovah is the Almighty God.” The word Almighty appears in the Bible 58 times – at all times for Jehovah, the Father and God of Jesus Christ. (John 20:17)
Jehovah created Jesus first in heaven, as his very first creation. (Revelation 3:14; Colossians 1:15)
When Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, he said she would give birth to Jesus the son of the Most High. (Luke 1:31-33)
So, Jesus is the son of the living God. (Matt. 16:16)
Jesus said that his father is greater than himself. (John 14:28)
When he was baptized, Jehovah, who was in heaven, said that Jesus was his son. (Matthew 3:15-17)
After Jesus completed his earthly ministry he died. But on third day, his father Jehovah, who cannot die, resurrected him. (Acts 2 31, 32)
Jehovah and Jesus are not one person and are not coequal.
That was why Jesus prayed to his father in heaven when he was on earth. (John 17:1)
