The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has opened its application portal for the selection of members of the 2026 National Medical Team (NMT), inviting qualified Nigerian healthcare professionals to apply.
This is contained in a statement by Fatima Sanda Usara Deputy Director, Information and Public Relations , NAHCON on Friday, December 12, 2025.
According to the Commission, the online application portal will go live on the NAHCON website at 11:00pm December 12, 2025, and will close at 11:59pm on Monday, December 15, 2025. Eligible applicants include doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and environmental health workers.
NAHCON stated that applicants must be in active service at the time of application and must not have participated in the last three Hajj operations 2023, 2024, and 2025. Prospective applicants are advised to visit the Commission’s official website, www.nahcon.gov.ng, for detailed guidelines and to complete the application process.
The Commission urged interested candidates to carefully review all requirements and ensure accurate completion of the online form to avoid disqualification. It also emphasized the importance of submitting applications within the stipulated timeframe.
NAHCON reaffirmed its commitment to keeping the public informed as preparations for the 2026 Hajj continue.
