The Enugu State Housing Development Corporation (ESHDC) has commenced a state-wide revalidation exercise for title documents and an update of property records for all allottees and property owners in its estates.

The General Manager of ESHDC, Dr. Gerald Asogwa, announced the commencement of the exercise, which started on Monday, September 15, 2025, and will run until December 31, 2025.

According to Asogwa, the exercise, which is in strict compliance with the directives of the Enugu State Government, is aimed at ensuring proper documentation, improving service delivery, and maintaining up-to-date property records in line with global best practices.

Asogwa noted that only property documents that are duly revalidated during this period will be recognized in the future.

He urged all allottees and property owners to take advantage of the exercise to regularize their ownership documents.

To facilitate the process, the Corporation has set up multiple revalidation centres across Enugu State and key locations outside the state, including Abuja, Lagos, and Anambra, making it accessible to property owners within and beyond the state.
