American rapper Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., popularly known as DDG, has revealed plans to relocate to Lagos, Nigeria, as his custody battle with ex-girlfriend Halle Bailey over their 17-month-old son, Halo, continues.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), DDG wrote, “I’m so tired of living in LA. I can’t wait til I move to Lagos, Nigeria.”

The rapper had earlier hinted in January 2025 that he was considering leaving the US for either London or Lagos, citing dissatisfaction with life in America.

The custody battle between DDG and Bailey has been highly publicised, with Bailey previously alleging physical and emotional abuse and obtaining a temporary restraining order against DDG. (The Nation)
