Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Monday, August 8, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Morning thunderstorms are expected over most places while partly cloudy to cloudy conditions will prevail during the afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 33- 37oc.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy morning is anticipated with chances of localised rains over Ibi, Jalingo and Yola axis. Later in the day, localised rains are expected over Mambilla plateau, Makurdi, Lafia, Yola and Obudu axis. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 28- 34oc.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are likely over the entire inland and the South West coast while light rains are likely over the South East coast during the morning hours. Cloudy conditions will be experience over the entire South in the afternoon/evening period. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 31- 33oc.
