The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Wednesday, August 3, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected in the morning. There are chances of localised thunderstorms over Sokoto, Birnin Kebbi, Katsina and Yelwa during the evening/night period. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 29 - 34 oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated over the region with prospects of localised rains over few places during the morning hours. Localised thunderstorms are not unlike over the high ground areas like Jos, Southern Kaduna and Lokoja during the afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 29 - 30 oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Increased cloudiness with chances of isolated rains may occur over Enugu and Abakaliki during the morning hours. Localised rains/drizzles are expected to affects Port Harcourt, Calabar and some inland cities in the afternoon/evening period. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 28-30 oC.
