15 feared dead as Fulani herdsmen raze down Adamawa community

Suspected Fulani herdsmen have razed down Kadomun, a community in Adamawa State, displacing no fewer than 5,000 people, and destroying properties. Fifteen persons are feared dead and several others injured in the attack.

This came two days after a similar attack on the village.

The villagers told Channels Television that the community had gathered for the funeral of one of those killed when the herdsmen again invaded the community with sophisticated weapons shooting sporadically and setting houses ablaze.

While members of the vigilante group are seen lamenting their ordeal and fears despite the presence of security operatives, the Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Ghazalli, however says there is no record of casualties. (TVC/Channels)
