ACC National Chairman, Rev Olusegun Peters
Rev. Olusegun Peters, National Chairman of the Allied Conservative Congress (ACC), has predicted that Nigerian voters will shock the All Progressives Congress (APC) and opposition parties, including the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party, and Social Democratic Party, in the 2027 general elections.
In a statement, Peters urged Nigerians to vote wisely to elect a government capable of tackling the country’s economic hardship and insecurity. He lamented the ongoing struggles with food crises, insecurity, and nepotism, which continue to plague citizens.
Peters expressed confidence that, if registered as a political party by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the ACC would secure a landslide victory in 2027. “The Allied Conservative Congress (ACC) reaffirms its determination to win the 2027 elections and redirect the ship of the nation to the path of rectitude, development, advancement and prosperity anchored on conservative ideology,” he said.
He assured Nigerians of a better society if the ACC is voted into power, aligning with Section 14(2)(b) of the 1999 Constitution, which states that the security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government. “This is the essence of conservative governance that has been neglected for decades,” Peters added.
The ACC chairman called on members to intensify membership drives and strengthen party structures to attract citizens frustrated with the status quo. “We feel the pains of fellow compatriots who desire and deserve dividends of democracy to assuage their sufferings and restore their confidence in the fatherland,” he said, emphasising the party’s commitment to transformative leadership.
Peters urged Nigerians to join the ACC to achieve genuine democracy, peace, unity, security, and prosperity. “It is time to sail Nigeria to a glorious destination. We enjoin citizens to identify with ACC to make Nigeria great again,” he concluded. (Saturday Sun)
