Less than 24 hours after its registration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), mega opposition party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been dismissed by reggae superstar Ras Kimono.
APC is being touted by its promoters and sympathisers as Nigeria’s political messiah but Kimono yesterday evening dismissed it as a party of liars.
A Rastafarian who is not known to belong to any political party, Kimono unburdened his heart on APC while reacting to a Facebook post by veteran journalist Azuka Jebose, who wrote: “APC: Another Political Crook(s). Time will confirm.”
Respondingv to the post, the Under Pressure star wrote: “AZUKA J DONT MIND THEM, NO BE ONLY A P C, B CODIEN NKO? LIARSSSSSSS.”
APC is the product of the merger of three political parties –Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).
