It will a cloudy Saturday with chances of isolated thunderstorms: NiMET

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Saturday, May 7, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy is expected over some places around Sokoto, Kano, Gusau, Katsina, Nguru and Maiduguri. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 24-28oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy condition is anticipated with chances of isolated thunderstorms over the high grounds of central states including Abuja, Minna and Kaduna during the afternoon/evening period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 19-27oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudiness is expected over the coastal and inland cities in the morning. Prospects of isolated thunderstorms are not unlikely over some cities like Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Calabar, Enugu, Awka and Owerri during afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-26oC.
