The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Sunday, May 1, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny to partly cloudy conditions are expected over Kano, Sokoto, Yelwa, Katsina. While afternoon/evening isolated weather activities are likely, Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-27oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy condition is anticipated within the early morning hours, there are chances of localised thunderstorms over the high grounds in the afternoon/evening hour. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23 -26oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over this region in the morning. While there are prospect for scattered thunderstorms over the coastal cities like Calabar, Eket, part-Harcourt, Warri, and Yenagoa in the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-26oC.
