The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Saturday, April 30, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Sunny conditions are expected over the extreme part of the North while places like Yelwa, Zaria and Dutse axis will be partly cloudy during the forecast period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-28oC.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy conditions are anticipated in the morning. There are chances of isolated thunderstorms over some parts of the high ground areas of this region during the afternoon/evening period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-27oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: Increased cloudiness with prospects of localised thunderstorms over places like Akure, Oshogbo, Ijebu Ode and Ibadan are expected in the morning. Localised thunderstorms are not unlikely in the afternoon/evening period over Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Calabar and some parts of the inland cities of the southeast. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-26oC.
