Barely two days after they attacked Ukpabu Nimbo community in Uzo-Uwani area of Enugu, armed Fulani herdsmen are besieging Umuchigbo Area of Abakpa, a youth leader has claimed.
In a WhatsApp broadcast received by News express at exactly 7:39 p.m., Dr. Ben Ugwu, Mni, FCIA, Co-ordinator of Nsukka Youth for Good Governance, Enugu State, wrote:
“Alert! Alert!! Alert!!!
“Security threat!
“Armed Fulani herdsmen are currently besieging Umuchigbo Area of Abakpa Enugu in continuation of what they started in Uzo-Uwani LGA. Police and other law enforcement agencies should take note.
“They entered through the Annunciation area. Please rebroadcast to save lives. Alert! Alert!! Alert!!!
“Security threat!
