The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Monday, April 25, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy condition will prevail over Sokoto, Yelwa, Gombe and Kano. Other places like Maiduguri, Damaturu, Katsina, Nguru and Gusau is expected to be sunny during the forecast period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 20-28oC.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy morning is anticipated over the region. Increased cloudiness are expected later in the day which may lead to some Localisedthundery showers over the high ground areas like Southern Kaduna, Abuja, Jos and Lafia axis during the afternoon/evening period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-26oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy morning is expected over the region. Isolated thunderstorm is not unlikely over the coastal cities especially places like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar and Yenagoa in the afternoon/evening hours, including some parts of the inland cities such as Akure, Oshogbo, Enugu and Owerri. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-26oC
