The Senator representing Kogi West in the 8th National Assembly, Dino Melaye, has predicted that Dr. Bukola Saraki will survive his on-going trial by the Code of Conduct Tribunal for alleged false declaration of assets and serve out his four-year term as Senate President.
Melaye dropped the hint on his Facebook wall, going ahead to pledge his unalloyed support for the embattled Saraki.
The Facebook post in which Melaye pledged his loyalty and insisted that Saraki will triumph at the CCT reads:
“My brother and friend Sen. Bukola Saraki, if you have 1 trillion supporters I’m one, if you have one billion I’m one, if you have one million I’m one, if you have one thousand I’m one if you have ten I’m one, if you have only one supporter I’m one and if you have no single supporter it means I’m dead. No shaking. Four years too sure.”
