The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, April 20, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy condition is expected over Sokoto, Kano, Potiskum and Katsina in the morning, while sunny condition is anticipated in the afternoon over Maiduguri axis. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 21-28oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy morning is expected. Chances of localised thunderstorms over some parts of the central states including Abuja, Kaduna, Lokoja, Minna and Mambila Plateau axis during afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-25oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudiness is anticipated over the southern cities in the morning. Localised thunderstorms are likely over the coast and inland cities during the afternoon/evening hours especially over places like Port-Harcourt, Calabar, Warri, Eket, Ibadan, Akure and Oshogbo. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-26oC.
