Lagos warns landlords against evading land use charge, vows to seal property of defaulters

The Lagos State Ministry of Finance has sent out warnings to property owners in the state to pay land use charge or have their property sealed.

Finance Commissioner, Mustapha Akinkunmi, handed down the warning while briefing State House correspondents at Alausa on Monday.

He also warned against the harassment of any government officials by any resident in the course of carrying out their official duties.

The land use charge was established by in 2001 to have a harmonious collection of property taxes in Lagos State. (TVC)
