Nollywood actress, Shan George has appealed to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigeria Police Force for assistance following the theft of her N3.6 million by an individual named Cecilia Chibuzie Okoro.
In a widely circulated video released on Friday, May 3, 2023, Shan George disclosed that Cecilia had illicitly transferred all her funds from Zenith Bank to an Opay account, leaving her and her children in dire straits.
Expressing her distress, Shan George stated, Cecilia Chibuzie Okoro, thats the name of the person that just wiped out all the money in my account, N3.6 million into an OPAY account. I am imploring everybody, Zenith Bank, OPAY, please assist me, I beg of you in the name of God. I have no funds left, and my family has nothing to eat.
Addressing the authorities directly, she pleaded, EFCC, Police, all relevant authorities, I beseech you, please. This happened just today, May 3rd, less than an hour ago as I make this video.
