The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Saturday, April 16, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny condition is expected over some places like Maiduguri, Nguru, Potiskum. Partly cloudy is expected over Sokoto and Gusau. Chances of thunderstorms around Yelwa axis in the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 25-28oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy condition is anticipated in the morning. There are slight chances of localised thunderstorm over some parts of the central states including Abuja, Minna, Bida, Ilorin and Lafia. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 21-25oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy morning is expected over the coastal and inland cities in the morning. Localised thunderstorms are likely over cities especially places like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Warri, Eket, Ibadan, Akure, Enugu and Awka. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 20-24oC.
