Online publisher announces mother’s burial programme

Funeral arrangements have been announced for Gbemisola Comfort Foyeke Soneye, nee Olawale, the mother of the Publisher of Per Second News, Femi Soneye.

Mrs. Soneye, according to a statement on Wednesday, “died peacefully and entered Heaven’s gates” at St. Nicholas Hospital on December 1, 2015 after a brief illness.

The burial rites announcement, as signed by Femi Soneye, will kick off with a Christian Wake on April 21.

It will run from 6pm to 8pm at the Island Club, Lagos.

She will be laid to rest on Friday after a funeral service at St. Andrews Anglican Church, Oke Popo, Adeniji-Adele, Phase III Housing Estate, Lagos.

Interment will be at the Ikoyi Cemetry.

Reception follows immediately at the Island Club, Onikan, Lagos.

She is survived by Femi Soneye and Funlola Soneye-Odebode, daughter.
