The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, April 13, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Places around Katsina, Nguru, Maiduguri, Kano, Damaturu and Sokoto are expected to be partly cloudy during the forecast period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-29oC.
CENTRAL STATES: Increased cloudiness is anticipated within the early morning hours with slim chances of localised thundery showers over Yelwa. Isolated thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon/evening hours over Southern Kaduna, Abuja, Makurdi, Ibi, Jalingo and Bauchi during the afternoon/evening period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-26oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy morning is expected over the region. Prospects of thunderstorms are expected over the coastal cities especially places like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar and Yenagoa in the afternoon/evening hours, including some parts of the inland cities such as Akure, Oshogbo, Enugu and Owerri. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-26oC.
