The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, April 12, 2016”
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy condition is expected over Kano, Nguru, Potiskum, Katsina and Maiduguri. Prospects of thundery activities around Sokoto and Yelwa axis in the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 26-29oC.
CENTRAL STATES: Localised thunderstorm are anticipated in the early morning hours while there are chances of Localised thunderstorms over some parts of the central states including southern Kaduna, Abuja, Jos and environs in the afternoon/evening hours . Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 24-27oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudiness is anticipated over the southern cities in the morning. Localised thunderstorms are likely over coastal and inland cities in the afternoon especially places like Lagos, Porthacourt, Calabar, Warri, Eket, Ibadan, Akure, Enugu and Awka will experience thunderstorms. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-26oC.
