The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Monday, April 11, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy and partly cloudy conditions are expected over Maiduguri, Sokoto, Yelwa, Gombe, and Yola. With prospect of localised thundery and rain in the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 24-29oC.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy weather conditions are likely over this region in the morning hours, while early morning moderate chances of thunderstorms are expected over, Bida, Minna, Ilorin. And later in the afternoon/evening hours prospect of thunderstorms within the forecast period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22 -27oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy morning are anticipated over the coastal and inland cities in the morning hours, but later in the day Port Harcourt, Lagos, Ibadan, Enugu, Akure, Awka, Yenagoa, Calabar, Eket and Warri will likely experience thunderstorms. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-26oC.
