The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Friday, March 8, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy condition will prevail over Kano, Nguru, Maiduguri, Potiskum and Sokoto. Katsina will be sunny in the afternoon. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 26-29oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy condition is anticipated in the morning while chances of localised thunderstorm are likely over some parts of the central states including Abuja, Minna and Bida. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-26oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Localised thunderstorms are expected over south east coast in the morning. Later in the day especially places like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Warri, Eket, Ibadan, Akure, Enugu and Awka will experience thunderstorms. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-27oC.
