The Publisher of Urhobotoday Online, Mr. Oghenekevwe Laba, has released the dates for the burial ceremony o his mother, Mrs. Tiro Victoria Obiuwevbi.

Oghenekevwe Laba in a statement disclosed that the service of songs for his mother’s burial will hold on Thursday, April 14, at 125 Ekewan Road, Benin-City, Edo State, by 4:00 p.m.

He said that after interment, a reception would take place at Ekpan Police State playfield, Refinery Road, Warri, Delta State, on Saturday, April 16, by 12 noon.

“I am appealing to all numerous readers of Urhobotoday, my friends, relations and well wishers to please endeavour to attend the event and celebrate the passing of my mother to eternity with me,” Laba appealed.

Mrs. Tiro Victoria Obiuwevbi, who was reputed as a hardworking mother and a successful business woman, died on November 24, 2015 at the age of 76 years after a protracted illness.

She is survived by her husband, Mr. Daniel Obiuwevbi, a retired Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), five children and several grand children.
