The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Monday, April 4, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny condition will prevail over Kano, Nguru, Maiduguri, Damaturu, Dutse and Potiskum and Sokoto. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 24-30oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy condition is anticipated in the morning and afternoon over some parts of the central states. Prospect of afternoon/evening thunderstorm in places like Abuja, Minna, Bida and Ilorin. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 25-38oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Isolated thunderstorm is expected over the coastal cities especially over places like Lagos, Port Harcourt and Calabar in the afternoon/evening hours while the Inland cities will also have isolated thunderstorm in the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-27oC.
