BREAKING: Boko Haram launches attack in Maiduguri

Boko Haram terrorists have attacked motorists at NNPC Filling Station in Maiduguri, a report from the area said.

Daily Trust, which flashed the headline minutes ago in its online edition, did not provide details.

News Express had last night reported that the terrorists have lately been making a desperate push for the Borno State capital. Yesterday evening they attacked Aduwari, a satellite village near Polo area in Maiduguri, but were repelled by Nigerian troops.

That was after at least 14 people were killed and several others injured in a Christmas Day attack on Kimba village, which was burnt down by the insurgents.
