FRSC acquires device that detects drunk drivers

The Lagos Island Unit of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has acquired a device known as equaliser for testing alcohol level in drivers.

The Commander, Mr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Alao, disclosed this at an EMBER months rally at Obalende, organised by Metro FM 97.7, Lagos. He declared that FRSC, using the device, will clamp the full weight of the law on drunk driving, especially during the Yuletide.

Mr. Alao warned drivers who do not want to taste the wrath of the law to avoid drinking and driving.
