Thirteen ships laden with petrol and diesel have arrived at Lagos ports and waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Tuesday in Lagos.
According to the NPA, 36 additional ships carrying foods, general cargoes and petroleum products are being expected from October 27 to November 14.
It said 14 of the vessels would bring in containers, while nine others are to sail in with general cargoes.
Only four of the ships are expected to bring in petrol and base oil.
The remaining nine ships, it added, are expected to bring in bulk sugar, bulk salt, buckwheat and crude palm oil. (NAN)
