The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, October 28, 2015:

SOUTHERN STATES

Coastal Areas: Localised rain showers are expected over the South-West, while localised rains are expected over the South-East in the morning. Prospect of localised rains are expected to prevail over the entire region in the afternoon/evening hours.

Inland Areas: Cloudy morning is expected over the region with chances of localised thunderstorms, to affect the entire inland cities in the evening/night hours.

Central States: Localised thunderstorms are expected to affect areas like Minna, Abuja and Lokoja axis, while cloudy condition will prevail over the other parts of the central states in the morning. Localised thunderstorms are expected to affect Minna, Abuja, Lokoja, Makurdi, Lafia, Kaduna and Mambilla PLateau axis in the afternoon/evening hours.

NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy morning is expected, with sunny conditions to prevail over the entire region in the afternoon/evening hours.
