Rain shower, clouds and thunderstorms to characterise today’s weather, says NiMET

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Friday, October 23, 2015:

COASTAL AREAS: Localised showers is expected over the area in the morning, with chances of localised thunderstorms during the afternoon/evening hours.

INLAND AREAS: Cloudy morning is expected over the region while localised thunderstorms are expected to affect entire inland cities in the afternoon/evening.

CENTRAL STATES: Localised thunderstorms are expected to affect the high ground areas while Cloudy condition will prevail over the remaining part of the region in the morning. Partly cloudy conditions are likely to affect Gombe, Bauchi, Kaduna and Kebbi while localised thunderstorm is expected to affect the remaining part of the region during the afternoon/evening hours.

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny conditions are expected during the forecast period over the region.
