Today’s weather forecast, by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET)

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, October 7, 2015:

SOUTHERN STATES

Coastal Areas: Localised drizzles are expected to prevail over the coast while there are prospects of localised thunderstorms over the region in the afternoon/evening hours.

Inland Areas: Localised rain showers are expected to prevail over the region in the morning and chances of localised thunderstorms during the afternoon/evening hours.

Central States: Cloudy conditions are expected to prevail over the region in the morning and prospects of localised thunderstorms in the afternoon/evening hours.

NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over the region. There are prospects of localised thundery activities in the western part of the north while localised thunderstorms are expected over the northeast in the afternoon/evening hours.
