APGA set for ‘MOTHER OF ALL RALLIES’ on March 2

All is set for the ‘MOTHER OF ALL RALLIES’ by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) scheduled to hold this Saturday, March 2, at Alex Ekwueme square, Awka, Anambra State in South East Nigeria.

This was announced this afternoon by the party’s Chairman, Interim National Working Committee, Maxi Okwu (Ikenecheoha II).

The statement entitled ‘OPERATION MASS RETURN’ declared that “it is indeed a new dawn for our party.”

According to Okwu: “We shall formally cap the quiet campaign on the three R’s we commenced since 16th February 2013, as we invite all and sundry to the ‘MOTHER OF ALL RALLIES’ that will take place at Alex Ekwueme square, Awka, Anambra State Nigeria on Saturday 2nd March 2013.

“May I also seize this epochal moment to pay tribute and specially invite the following groups who played an invaluable role in the realization of the APGA dream. The Igboezue Cultural Association (ICA), the Igbo Delegates Assembly (IDA) the apex Igbo ethnic association throughout the nineteen northern states and FCT, the facilitator and members of the Friday Conclave Enugu and many individuals too numerous to mention. We intend to reach out to all of them individually by way of correspondence and private visits as much as possible.

We urge them to come home and together once again let us actualize the dream in full.

“Let me conclude by paying special tribute to our late hero, mentor and Leader, Ikemba Nnewi, Dike di ora nma Ndigbo, amuma na egbe Igwe, Odenigbo Ngwo, General of the People’s Army, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu God bless his soul.”
