The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) will conduct a mock accreditation exercise across the country today.
The field-testing of the smart card readers, according to INEC, will hold in 225 polling units and 358 voting points across 12 registration areas, otherwise known as wards in 12 states of the federation.
The states and the regions include South-West states of Lagos and Ekiti; South-South, Delta and Rivers States; South-East, Anambra and Ebonyi while the North-West region has Kebbi and Kano states. Nassarawa and Niger states will host the exercise in the North-Central, and North-East will have Bauchi and Taraba states.
