PPA has most credible candidates for 2015 polls in Anambra, says Ezeemo

Leader of Progressive People’s Alliance (PPA) in Anambra, Mr. Godwin Ezeemo, has called on the electorate to vote for the party’s candidates in the forthcoming general elections because of what he described as better leadership. He made the statement in Achina, Aguata Local Government Area, during the party’s campaign in the area. He said that the party has operational and functional internal democracy, as he reeled out wheels of change in all sectors of human endeavour.

According to Ezeemo, PPA believes and respects rule of law, hence the reason for the resounding democratic structures guiding the structure. His words: “We are politically disciplined and focused in our party manifesto; that is why we enjoy relative peace which has earned us no bruises. The internal democracy in the party has afforded us the opportunity to elect credible and qualified candidates to contest in all the elective post applicable to the state, with aim of giving quality service and representation.”

Ezeemo said that the choice of the party would square up with other candidates from other political parties in the forthcoming elections. He said that the candidates’ acceptance by the party was the reason the party’s campaign train is taking its campaign to all the local government areas in the state to introduce the party’s manifesto and more so solicit the support of the electorate. The PPA leader noted that the campaign train had gone to all the communities in Orumba South, Orumba North, Nnewi South, Nnewi North and Onitsha North and South council areas.

On his part, the state Chairman Matthias Emeke, urged voters not to be cajoled into voting wrongly by way of financial inducement, but rather vote wisely. He said: “Your vote is not for sale, vote with the mind of electing leaders with impeccable character; who would have listening ears when elected.”

Emeke added that the party had fielded candidates in national and state houses of assembly. He called on the electorates not to miss a chance of electing quality leaders, through hundred per cent of their votes to PPA candidates, and that this could only be achieved by ensuring they collect their permanent voters cards (PVCs).
