Just In: Aregbesola floors Omisore as tribunal dismisses petition

The attempt by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Senator Iyiola Omisore, to unseat Governor Rauf Aregbesola has failed.

Reports from Osun State have it that the State Governorship Election Tribunal minutes ago dismissed Omisore’s petition and held that Ogbeni Aregbesola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was validly returned as re-elected during the governorship election in the State of Osun.
