I deserve a second term in office —Ajimobi

Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has declared that he deserves a second term in office as a result of his achievements in the past almost four years in office.

Speaking at Mapo Hall in Ibadan during the flag-off of his re-election campaign, Senator Ajimobi maintained that the successes he has recorded are unmatched in the history of the state.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate described the party as the only one that could promote development in all sectors of the economy, both in the state and across the country.

Also speaking at the rally, last Saturday, Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State advised the people of Oyo State to obtain their Permanent Voters' Cards before the polls and to monitor their votes until they are counted on the election day. “Just like Fayemi worked in Ekiti, Ajimobi has turned Oyo State around for the better. So, it is better to allow him to continue for another four years,” Aregbesola said.

In his speech, former governor of Lagos State and APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu, described Ajimobi as a dependable and reliable leader who represents a group of intellectuals with vision and capacity to make the people the cornerstone of economic policy.

On his part, a former governor of Osun State, Dr. Olagunsoye Oyinlola, called on voters in the state to ensure that they return Ajimobi for a second term, saying: “That is the only way to sustain the gains of democracy which he has started.”
