Rivers PDP Chairman, Bro Obuah
Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Bro. Felix Obuah, has said that the people of the state have every cause to be thankful to God in this season of Christmas because of God’s abundant grace, goodness and mercies.
In a goodwill message to the people of the state, Bro. Obuah said that “a deep reflection into the past months shows that God has been tremendously good to Rivers people through the instrumentality of the amiable Governor of the State, Chief (Barr) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.”
The Rivers PDP Chairman in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam, charged the people “not to be swayed by the present economic hardship as the future portends more peace, progress and development for people of the state.”
He urged them to thank God for keeping everyone alive, adding that the coming years would be more fruitful and rewarding and urged them to join faith with Governor Wike as he continues in his developmental agenda for Rivers people.
“The PDP Chairman enjoins the people to be in sober reflection and use the season of Christmas to pray for Governor Wike, the state and nation,” the statement said.
Bro. Obuah expressed confidence that the state would overcome all its challenges and move ahead, adding: “As Christmas brings joy to the world, so shall Rivers State be filled with joy in abundance, now and in the coming years.”
He called on the people to remain supportive of the administration of Governor Wike as he continues to deliver the dividends of democracy to improve the wellbeing of the people.
