The Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Uwajumogu, has described death as a thief that snatches beloved ones from people when it matters most, and when least expected.
Speaker Uwajumogu made the remark when while condoling the Co Publisher of Newspoint Newspapers, Owerri, Mr. Gele Agbai, over the death of his father, Pa Agbai Ogele.
He described Pa Agbai Ogele, of Ndiagba of Amaba Ugwueke Community in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, as a community leader, social crusader, church Leader and a patriot who though died at a ripe age of 90, left indelible legacies that have truly united his community and state. According to Rt. Hon. Uwajumogu, Pa Agbai Ogele fathered successful, industrious and responsible children who are today captains of industries, publishers of newspapers and employers of labour.
He therefore called on Mr. Gele Agbai and the entire Agbai Ogele family to bear the loss with fortitude and not to grieve too much knowing that their lived a fulfilled life.
