It was a sad story for Senator Heineken Lokpobiri as he scored zero vote today in his re-election bid. Lokpobiri was trounced by immediate-past chairman of the Bayelsa State Scholarship Board, Evangelist Foster Ogola, during today’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Assembly primaries in Bayelsa State.
The Chairman, Senate Committee on Oil and Gas (Downstream sector), Senator Emmanuel Paulker, and former Director-General, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Mr. Ben Murray Bruce, also won big in their bid to represent the party in the 2015 general elections.
This was contained in the result declared by the Chief Returning Officers in the three Senatorial Districts and coordinated by the Chairman, Bayelsa State National Assembly Primaries Electoral Committee, General Idi Adamu (rtd).
