Detained Revolutionnow leader, Omoyele Sowore
Not minding the security invasion of the CHDR Rights House and Sahara Reporters office both in Ikeja, Lagos by policemen and DSS on Wednesday morning, thousands of activists held a peaceful protest rally at Ikeja Underbridge.
The rally kicked off about noon with solidarity songs and speeches.
The activities called for the release of Omoyele Sowore and others being detained thy security men as well as improvement in the living standard of Nigerians.
They also castigated the Federal Government for clamping down on free speech and turning the security men against the people. (Daily Independent)
