Plans have been concluded for the hosting of the 2019 CMC Africa Awards. The award ceremony, which is in its fourth year, is organized by Cornel Entertainment.

Since its debut four years ago, the organizers of the CMC Africa award has worked tirelessly to ensure that the objective of the event is not abdicated. It is inspired by the need to honour many who continually work in the cockpit striving hard that the country’s flag is constantly flown at high mast.

On Sunday August 25, 2019, Kingcelia Hotel at Jibowu, Lagos will be hosting high powered delegation consisting of top government officials, senior military officers, entertainment icons and media exponents. The CMC Africa Awards is fast becoming the stable of the Lagos entertainment slogan: Eko for Show, which attracts the very best brains in the land and drawing the attention of the media like no other event in the land.

This year’s theme is ‘Galvanizing New Framework in Tackling Security Challenges’, one that is aimed at exemplifying the sensitive nature of security as it concerns human lives and the veritable deployment of modern tools in curbing the upsurge of crimes in the Land.

Billed to speak on this topic is the Lagos Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as the keynote speaker. It is the hope of the organisers that the topic will raise the bar for continuous conversation around the subject matter of insecurity that has crept in as a terrible nightmare in the broad day light activities of the country.

The CMC Africa Awards, the organisers noted, will offer more than just political discourse as it promises exquisite fun all the way. There would also be an overdose of laughter and fine blend of music from the best artiste in the country.
