A Police Inspector serving with the Kano State Police Command was on Thursday stabbed to death in his house by unidentified persons, a report this morning said.

The report, by The PUNCH, identified the victim as Isiyaku Babaji, disclosing that he met is sudden and untimely death at his house in the Kwari Sabuwa area of Kano.

“It was learnt that the intruder had knocked on the door of the policemen and stabbed him with a dagger as soon as the man opened the door,” the report said, adding that the state police command spokesman, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, could not immediately be reached for comment.
