The Chief Press Secretary to Governor Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State, Mrs Mary Noel Berje, has promised to work with Public Relations professionals in the state to create a positive image for the state government in order to move the state to an enviable height.

Mrs. Noel-Berje stated this in Minna when she recently received members of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Niger State, chapter led by the former National Vice President of the Institute, Mallam Mohammad Dattijo Usman, on a courtesy visit.

She promised to work with all professional information management bodies in the state to ensure smooth dissemination of government policies and programmes.

“I am ready to work with well-meaning professional bodies because I cannot do it alone. We need to work together as well as share ideas for the good of our state,” she said.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation and former Vice President of the Institute, Mallam Dattijo Usman who said that public relations is about solving issues gave an assurance that the institute will support her to enable her make a mark.

He urged her to be always be patient, focused and discharge her duties with every sense of humility.

“One thing we have always known you with is your humility and we enjoin you to sustain it. We pray God to give wisdom and courage to carry out your duties effectively,” he said.
