A former director of the State Security Service, SSS, has revealed that some serving military officers are involved in the spate of kidnappings plaguing the country.
Mike Ejiofor who’s a one-time director of SSS, while addressing the rise of the twin menace “Kidnapping and Banditry” on Channels TV, exposed those behind the crime.
Speaking as a kidnap victim, he urged the Federal government to fish out the bad eggs that have infiltrated the security agencies in the country.
This is coming days after the unfortunate incident between the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Police, resulting in the killing of 3 personnel of the Nigeria Police and setting a notorious kidnapper free along Ibi-Wukari road in Taraba State. (Agency report)
