Founder/Pastor of Household of God Church, Rev. Chris Okotie, needs payers to see the end of this year, according to a man described as a “renowned prophet” by one of Nigeria’s most authoritative newspapers.
In its edition of yesterday, the Lagos-based ThisDay newspaper quoted the Presiding Bishop of Christian Central Chapel International (CCCI), Calabar, Cross River State, Bishop Emmah Isong, as having “called for prayers for Rev. Chris Okotie for God to save him this year.”
Isong also appealed to Nigerians to pray for the Vice President, Alhaji Namadi Sambo, to continue to be number two “or else he will be the second Atiku Abubakar,” according to the report.
News Express reports that Atiku was unceremoniously dropped as Vice President by erstwhile President Olusegun Obasanjo due to personal differences. Sambo has so far enjoyed rosy relations with President Goodluck Jonathan, who is humbler than Obasanjo and less temperamental.
As for Okotie, the 54 years old former Pop star who divorced his wife Stephanie last August after four years of marriage, is not known to be suffering from any ailment. The two-time presidential candidate has hinted that he would also run in 2015 despite the recent deregistration of his Fresh Democratic Party (FDP) by the Independent National Electoral Commission. (INEC) for failing to win any election.
