Thunderstorm
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, July 17, 2019:
NORTHERN STATES: Thunderstorms are expected over Kano and Katsina in the morning hours. Later in the day, thunderstorm is anticipated over Kano, Katsina, Potiskum, Damaturu, Dutse and Gusau. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 30 – 34℃and 23 – 26℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy condition is anticipated over the region in the morning hours. There are prospects of thunderstorms over Jos, Gombe, Yola, Mambila Plateau and Bauchi during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 28 – 34℃and 18 – 24℃respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the region with chances of rain over Warri, Benin and Asaba axis in the morning. Later in the day, intermittent rains are anticipated over most places in the region. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 32℃and 21 – 24℃respectively.
