The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Friday, June 27, 2019:

NORTHERN STATES: Morning thunderstorms are expected over Gusau, Katsina, Kano, Maiduguri, Nguru and Dutse. Later in the day, partly cloudy to cloudy condition is expected over the region with chances of thunderstorms over Sokoto and Yelwa. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 29 – 33℃and 22 – 25℃respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated over this region with chances of thunderstorm over Yola, Jalingo, Abuja, Bauchi, Jos, Lafia, Makurdi and Mambilla Plateau axis in the morning hours. As the day progresses, localised thunderstorms are likely over Kaduna, Ilorin Minna, Bauchi, Yola, Lokoja, Jos, Jalingo and Mambilla Plateau. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 24 – 30℃and 18 – 24℃.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of localised rains over Asaba, Enugu, Awka, Owerri, Akure, Osogbo, Benin, Ado-Ekiti, Abeokuta, Port Harcourt and Calabar in the morning hours. Later in the day, intermittent rains are anticipated over most part of the region. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 28 – 30℃and 20 – 24℃respectively.
