Governor Sanwo-Olu
The management and staff of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) have joined other Lagosians in wishing the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, “a very happy 54th birthday”.
A statement issued on Tuesday and signed by EKEDC General Manager Corporate Communications, Eko Electricity Distribution Company, Mr Godwin Idemudia, said that “the EKEDC management, headed by Engr. Adeoye Fadeyibi, is felicitating with the governor on his special day” and reiterated the company’s “commitment to seeing the governor enjoy a successful tenure at the helm of Lagos State’s affairs.”
“Governor Sanwo-Olu has in a short time shown to be a man of the people. We are as excited as others to see him deliver the good he has promised the state,” the statement said, adding:
“During his campaign and eventual emergence as governor of this great state, he showed a rare resolve only seen in individuals with great dreams and aspiration.
“'As he continues to work hard in his desire to see Lagos State move to greater heights, we, as a company assure the governor on his birthday of the EKEDC’s commitment to ensure his government is successful. We will on our part join in empowering lives through our services to the good people of the state.
“'We also pray to God to grant him long life, prosperity and more of the exemplary energy and character that will be important in his piloting of the affairs of the state.
