Elites Network for Sustainable Development (ENetSuD), a Kwara-based Civil Society Organization, has reacted to the marching order given to Ministry of Water Resources by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on June 3, 2019 to deliver constant water supply to specific areas in Ilorin within 100 days.

In a statement signed by its Coordinator, Dr. Alagbonsi Abdullateef, ENetSuD said it will do another survey after the expiration of 100 days ultimatum issued by the Governor, so as to know the extent to which such order has been complied with. The survey will also enable citizens to know if the water scarcity has improved in the first 100 days of the current administration”.

ENetSuD had, on several occasions, challenged the out-gone administration of Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed over failure of the N6.5 billion Ilorin Water Reticulation, calling it a scam and referring it as a project that has not provided any value for taxpayers’ money.
